The Second Westfall Special
When Jeff Paulson, EAA 263515, brought this striking little biplane to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, he found that almost nobody knew what it was. That’s not surprising, as it’s a one-off replica of a one-off design called the Westfall Special.
Ron Price bought his rare 1938 Luscombe Model 4 in 1977 when it was on display in a museum, but the restoration didn't begin in earnest until nearly 30 years later.
